The Grey-Bruce Home Builders and Trades Association does a lot of “unsung” community work. The following is a small list of some examples:
 
  • Regular participant and financial supporter of the Festival of Northern Lights
  • Financial supporter of the Kiwanis Santa Claus parade
  • Financial supporter of the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP)
  • Financial support for carpentry course tools at OSCVI  and West Hill Secondary School
  • Annual $500 bursaries to West Hill Secondary School and Saugeen District High School
  • Five hundred dollar donation to the Markdale Hospital renovation fund
  • Five hundred dollar donation to the Big Sisters of Owen Sound
  • One thousand dollar donation to the Big Brothers of Owen Sound
  • One thousand dollar donation to the Order of Good Cheer for their outdoor rink at Harrison Park
  • Built and donated Jason’s “Clubhouse” – a request from the Children’s Wish Foundation
